Among the three, Gadomski leads IWU with a .409 average that includes nine hits, three doubles, one home run, and six RBIs. Woltman has accumulated a .400 average with four doubles. Perona rounds out the top-three with a .391 average and three two-baggers so far this season.

On the bump, junior Dalen Banks (Springfield, Ill.-Springfield) has kept offenses at bay throughout his two starts. In the 14 innings he has pitched, Banks has an ERA of 0.00, which includes eight strikeouts.

Sophomore Cole Shamhart (Oak Park, Ill.-Oak Park River Forest) garnered College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Pitcher of the Week honors, March 4. Shamhart has had two starts and currently holds an ERA of 1.50. With 12 innings pitched, the Oak Park, Ill. native has 12 strikeouts and has held opposing offenses to 10 hits.

IWU has squared off with five-of-the-seven teams it will face in the Sunshine state in previous seasons. The Titans hold a 4-1 record against Ripon (1-2) but have yet to play Stockton (4-3), which is game two of the trip.

The Green and White are playing back-to-back games against two teams from Maine, Saint Joseph's College of Maine (1-0), and the University of Southern Maine (0-3). The Titans are 1-1, and 0-2 against the Maine-based institutions, respectively.

Simpson College (4-2) is the team Illinois Wesleyan has seen the most in past seasons with an all time record of 5-6 against the Storm. The Titans then play Wheaton College (Mass.) from Friday, March 15, with hopes of doubling their 1-0 record against the Lyons. To round out the trip, the Green and White will play University of Minnesota Morris (2-2) for the first time in program history.
