Senior Trystan Seeley (Castle Rock, Colo.-Castle View) led the Titans with four goals and five points. McHugh added a trio of ground balls, while six Titans scooped up two. In goal, junior Colin Tervo (West Linn, Ore.-West Linn) notched the win to improve to 4-2 on the season. Logging the entire game between the iron, Tervo registered 17 saves, just one shy of tying his career-best, on a .680 save percentage.

After a scoreless first five minutes of the game, Albion cracked the scoreboard first, taking a 1-0, but the Titans quickly responded, as Seeley evened the score at the 9:07 mark. Gamelgaard gave the Green and White a 2-1 lead 62 seconds later, capitalizing on an Albion miscue.

IWU would score the two remaining goals in the first period, courtesy of Weinberg and Dretzka, to take a 4-1 lead at the end of the first period of action.

McHugh opened the second period of action to boost the Titans' lead to four with 13:16 remaining in the first half. Albion finally stopped the Titan run, but Seeley quickly ignited the offense again, as he scored a man-down goal less than a minute after Albion to push the lead back up to four.

Following the Titan goal, Lombardo won the faceoff and Titan head coach Zach Iannucci called timeout to set up an offensive plan. The timeout went as planned, as Seeley found senior Ike Eastburn (Colorado Springs, Colo.-Cheyenne Mountain) for a man-up goal to extend the score to 7-2 in favor of the visitors.

IWU took a 9-5 advantage into the half, as Weinberg and Gamelgaard each scored one more time for the Green and White to close out the second period.

Out of the half, senior Ethan Hart (Littleton, Colo.-J.K. Mullen) caused a Briton turnover, and scooped up the ball to set up the Titan offense. The Titans capitalized on the turnover, as sophomore Noah Dretzka (Delafield, Wis.-Kettle Moraine) found junior Nick Horrocks (Boulder, Colo.-Fairview) for the first goal of the half.

Illinois Wesleyan would score the only four other goals in the third, and cruised to a 15-8 victory.
