Men’s Tennis Sets Sight on Weekend Slate at Home

Titans will host Central & Greenville for weekend series

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Riding a four-match win streak, the Illinois Wesleyan University men's tennis team welcomes Central College (Iowa) and Greenville University for a weekend slate of matches at Evergreen Racquet Club Friday-Saturday, March 1-2. IWU (4-1) will face Central (0-5) Friday night at 7 p.m. before taking on Greenville (4-3) Saturday at noon.

The Titans enter Friday's match off a 6-3 win over Webster University Friday, Feb. 23. Freshman Thad Dillow (Effingham, Ill.-Effingham) and sophomore Griffin Hammond (Metamora, Ill.-Metamora Township) picked up the sole paired win for the Green and White, winning 8-6 at No. 3 doubles. Illinois Wesleyan secured the victory in singles action, claiming five of the six matches.
