BLOOMINGTON, Ill.- After an 0-2 week, the Illinois Wesleyan University men's soccer team is looking to bounce back in the regular season finale against College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin foe Millikin University, Wednesday, Oct. 30. Game time is set for 7 p.m. at Frank M. Lindsay Stadium.

The Titans are going into Wednesday's competition with a 9-3-3 record and are 3-3-1 in league play, with two of the three losses coming from last week. IWU took on CCIW rivals North Central College and Carroll University but were upended by both teams, 2-1, and 3-nil, respectively.

The lone goal came from junior Logan Tierney (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community) with an assist from fellow junior Kalabi Kamau (Alpharetta, Ga.-Marist School). Tierney has tallied five goals and three assists on the season for 13 points, being one of the most decorated players on the team. The Bloomington, Ill. native sits second on the team in points following sophomore Ryder Coleman (Bannockburn, Ill.-Deerfield) who has totaled 14 points, coming off of his seven goals of the season.

The Big Blue have seen a 9-5-1 season thus far, and are also 3-3-1 in conference play. Millikin is fresh off of a 1-nil win against North Central.

Junior goalkeeper Sam Kedzior (Cary, Ill.-Cary Grove) currently sits at second in conference in shutouts per game with .467 percentage, and has recorded seven shutouts on the season.

Depending on the outcome of this game, along with the North Central vs. Wheaton game, Illinois Wesleyan could potentially host the quarterfinals of the CCIW tournament. Otherwise, the Titans have the potential to travel to North Central, Carroll, or return to Millikin back to back.
