NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Fresh off the first win of her collegiate career, Illinois Wesleyan University freshman women's golfer Grace Fagan (Kirkwood, Mo.-Visitation Academy) was named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Women's Golf of the Week Wednesday, Oct. 2. Fagan is the first Titan freshman to garner the league's weekly award since Macy Ludwig did so Sept. 21, 2021.

Fagan won the Dechert Classic this past weekend, Sept. 27-28, leading the Titans to the team title. The rookie fired rounds of seven-over and 10-over to top the field at 161. In addition to marking her first collegiate win, Fagan's performance was also good for the first top-10 finish in her career.

Illinois Wesleyan looks ahead to the CCIW Championship, Oct. 3-5, at Metamora Fields. Live scoring will be provided through Clippd, while results will be posted to iwusports.com daily.
