NAPERVILLE, Ill. - A top-10 finish at the NCAA Division III Preview secured College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Men's Golfer of the Week honors for Illinois Wesleyan University senior golfer Griffin Pohl (Western Springs, Ill.-Lyons Township) Wednesday, Oct. 2. It is the third weekly league award of Pohl's career.

The Western Springs, Ill. native led the Titans to a second-place finish at the NCAA Division III Preview, Sept. 22-23, as he placed tied for eighth. Pohl carded rounds of 71, 67, and 73 to grab a top-10 finish. He carded a one-under and a five-under on the par-72 Midvale Country Club, Sept. 22, before finishing with a one-over at Cobblestone Creek Country Club, Sept. 23.

Next up on the schedule for Pohl and the Titans is a trip to Indianapolis, Oct. 7-8, for the Wabash Invite. The two-day tournament will be held at Broadmoor Country Club.
