GALESBURG, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's soccer team suffered a 3-1 non-conference loss against Knox College Tuesday, Sept. 19, at Jorge Prats Field. Illinois Wesleyan's record declined to 2-3 with the loss, while Knox improved to 4-3.
The Prairie Fire capitalized early against the Titans, scoring its first goal at the one minute mark and twice more within the next 12 minutes. The Titans continued to battle but we're bested in the end.

The Titans tried their best to claw their way back into the game but unfortunately were evenly matched for the rest of the game and the score ended 3-1 in favor of the Prairie Fire.
Sophomore Sam Kedzior (Cary, Ill.-Cary Grove) and junior
Ethan Fineman (Highland Park, Ill.-Highland Park) split time in between the posts for the Titans. Fineman finished with three goals against and three saves while Kedzior finished with five total saves.
The Green and White are back home Saturday, Sept. 23 against Carthage College. Game time is slated for 3:30 p.m. at Neis Field.
