Men’s Tennis Drops Matches in Indy

INDIANAPOLIS - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's tennis team returned to action with a pair of neutral site matches Saturday, Feb. 4, against Cedarville University and Greenville University. IWU slipped in a tight match, 5-4, against Greenville, while the Titans fell to Division II CU by a 5-1 tally.

Junior Evan Turnbull (Bloomington, Ill.-Bloomington) won both of his matches on the day, winning 7-6, 6-4 over Greenville's Luke Motsinger. He also took down his Cedarville opponent, defeating Jacob Durham 6-1 and 7-5.

The Titans return to action next weekend, Feb. 11, with a pair of matches against Simpson College and Principia College.
