Two Titans Named All-Region

Crabtree, Chudy earn accolades ahead of National Championship, Nov. 18

NEW ORLEANS - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's cross country team landed two on the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Midwest Region list 4after sophomore Adriana Crabtree (Normal, Ill.-University High) and junior Annalese Chudy (Libertyville, Ill.-Libertyville) turned in top-35 finishes at Saturday's Midwest Regional. The organization announced its selections on Monday, Nov. 13. 

Already boasting impressive resumes that include All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin First Team accolades, Crabtree and Chudy add All-Region honors to their season achievements. Crabtree picked up her first regional award while Chudy reeled in the award in back-to-back years.

Crabtree turned in a 21st-place finish (22:12.8) at Midwest Regionals, Saturday, Nov. 11 while Chudy was not far behind in 25th (22:19.3) as both Titans climbed the all-region podium. 

Crabtree and Chudy are set to compete Saturday, Nov. 18 at Big Spring High School in Newville, Pa. Dickinson College will serve as the host school. The women's race is slated for a noon (EST) start and will follow the men's 11 a.m. (EST) race.
