Swimming and Diving to Compete in Back-to-Back Meets

Men’s team welcomes Wabash Jan. 13, before both teams dual with RHIT Jan. 14

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's swimming and diving teams jump back into action Friday, Jan. 13 and Saturday, Jan. 14. The men's team will host a dual meet against Wabash College men's squad Friday at 5:30 p.m. inside Fort Natatorium. IWU's men's and women's teams will then travel to Terre Haute, Ind. for a clash with Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Saturday, scheduled for a 1 p.m. EST start. 

The Titans' return to the pool after their winter training trip down south in the Sunshine State. The Green and White had an exhibition meet against Kenyon College Thursday, Jan. 5. Wabash travels to Bloomington after a dual meet against DePauw University, Dec. 2, where the Little Giants came out on top with a final tally of 141-139. 

Saturday's competition sees the Titans take on the Fightin' Engineers. Most recently, IWU met RHIT in Indiana during the 2019-20 season. The men's team dropped the dual, while the women's team defeated Rose-Hulman. Before facing the Titans, RHIT travels to ??Valparaiso University, Jan. 13 for a Friday night dual.

Additionally, the women's team have been on a 11-meet win streak dating back to 2008, while the IWU men's squad still look to pull out a head-to-head win over the Fightin' Engineers.
