Onsrud & Thorman Ready to Represent IWU at Women’s Golf Championship

Sophomores will play as individuals

HOUSTON, Texas - Sophomores Lexi Onsrud (Normal, Ill.-University High) and Emma Thorman (Macomb, Ill.-Macomb) begin play at the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships tomorrow, May 10, at Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas. The duo will represent the Illinois Wesleyan University women's golf team as individuals.

The tournament will take place at the par-72, 5866-yard Bay Oaks Country Club. Onsrud will tee off at 9:20 a.m., playing alongside Oglethorpe's Sarah Hsu and Lynchburg's Emily Brubaker. Thorman drew the later tee time of 2 p.m., and will play with UT-Dallas' Karen Alvarez and Christopher Newport's Lauren Sims.
