BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University baseball team is gearing up for a busy, five-game week to wrap up its 2022 regular season slate. The Green and White will begin the week by hosting College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin foe, Augustana College, Monday, May 2 with a 5:30 p.m. first pitch at Horenberger Field in Bloomington, Ill. The team will then host non-conference opponent Blackburn College, Tuesday, May 3 at 6 p.m. Coming into Monday's action, IWU owns an overall record of 16-16 (7-7 CCIW), while the Vikings possess a record of 24-9 (8-6 CCIW), and Blackburn, who is scheduled to play Westminster College today before heading to Bloomington, sits at 8-26.

On the year, senior Dominic DiLello (Springfield, Ill.-Sacred Heart Griffin) tops the team with his .426 batting average, 1.130 OPS, and 13 hit by pitches. His .426 clip ranks third in the CCIW for the season.
