NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Illinois Wesleyan University men's lacrosse junior Connor Kiichle (Vancouver, Wash.-Skyview) earned College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Offensive Player of the Week honors Monday, April 18, after leading IWU to a key conference road win. It is the second weekly award of Kiichle's career, while it is the third of the season for the Titans.
The junior went for three goals and four assists, recording a game-high seven points, in IWU's convincing, 20-7, win at Augie, April 13. Kiichle also added a ground ball and caused a turnover in the win. He assisted on three straight goals before netting one of his own to open up a 6-0 Titan lead. He then assisted on another goal before scoring twice in the fourth quarter to fuel IWU to the 20-7 win.Â
The Titans return to action Saturday, April 23, when the Green and White open a three-game homestand at Tucci Stadium. IWU will begin the stint with a 1 p.m. tilt against Carroll University.
