NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Sophomore Lexi Onsrud (Bloomington, Ill.-University High) was named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Golfer of the Week by the league office Tuesday, April 12. It is the second straight week in which a Titan has earned the honor, and the second weekly accolade of Onsrud's career.

Behind Onsrud's medalist finish, Illinois Wesleyan defended its home turf by winning the Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling last weekend, April 9-10. She carded a school-record tying three-under par 69 in the first round before firing the second lowest round of the day in the final round. Onsrud won her third medalist honors of the season with a 148 two-day total. 

Onsrud and the Titans return to action at the Pilot Invitational this Friday and Saturday, April 15-16 in South Bend, Ind.
