Christiansen Picks Up CCIW Golfer of the Week Honors

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Senior Carl Christiansen (Naperville, Ill.-Naperville North) garnered College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Golfer of the Week honors Tuesday, March 22, following an impressive showing at the Jekyll Island Collegiate last weekend. It is Christiansen's first career CCIW Golfer of the Week honor.

The Naperville, Ill. native finished tied for 12th at the Jekyll Island Collegiate by firing a four-under total of 212 over three rounds. Christiansen was tied for fifth after the first round after carding a three-under 69. He would then fire an even-par 72 in the second round and finish the tournament with IWU's low round of the day in the third round with a one-under 71.

Christiansen and the Titans return to action at the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational April 1-2 hosted at Ironwood Golf Course in Normal, Ill.
