BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's tennis team makes its annual trek to Florida for its Spring Break trip March 14-17. IWU will kick off its trip at Eckerd University in St. Petersburg, Fla. Monday, March 14 at 10 a.m. ET. After its duel at Eckerd, the Titans head to Orlando for three matches at the USTA National Tennis Campus.
The Green and White are scheduled to play Wednesday, March 16 against Stevenson University before entertaining some doubleheader action, Thursday, March 17. IWU are slated to face off against Colby Sawyer College followed by a match against Millsaps College.
The Titans and Eckerd will play for the first-time in program history during the trip as IWU has seen the other three squads just once before. IWU last played Stevenson in 2011 during its Hilton Head, S.C. trip where the Titans dropped 7-2.
Similarly, Colby Sawyer has the advantage in the all-time series against the Titans, as they defeated IWU in the 2019-20 season in Orlando, 5-4. The Green and White have the upperhand in the all-time series against Millsaps, 1-0. In the same invite the Titans saw Stevenson back in 2011, IWU also faced Millsaps where they came out on top 6-3.
