Onsrud Keeps Titans’ Streak Going with CCIW Golfer of the Week Honor

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Sophomore Lexi Onsrud (Bloomington, Ill.-University High) was named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Co-Golfer of the Week by the league office Tuesday, Sept. 28. It is the third straight week in which a Titan has earned the honor, and the first weekly accolade of Onsrud's career. She shares this week's award with Elmhurst's Regan Bobich.

Behind Onsrud's medalist finish, Illinois Wesleyan won the team title at Millikin's Dechert Classic, Sept. 25. She claimed medalist honors at 147, carding a final round one-over par 73 for the first collegiate win of her career.

Onsrud and the Titans return to action as hosts of the CCIW Championships this week, Sept. 30-Oct. 2, at Ironwood.
