BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University volleyball team will kick off its 2021 campaign against Illinois College. First serve is set for 7 p.m Wednesday night, September 1 inside the Shirk Center.
The Titans are led by head coach Kim Nelson-Brown, who is entering her 26th-year at Illinois Wesleyan.Â
Coming off of a shortened COVID-19 season in 2020, the Titans are poised and ready to compete in a traditional season slate of competition in 2021. Illinois Wesleyan returns a trio of All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin honorees from 2019. Senior Madi Corey (Frankfort, Ill. - Lincoln-Way East) was named a First Team All-CCIW pick, while senior
Courtney McAuliffe (Lemont, Ill. - Lemont) and fifth-year senior
Jessica McCall (Wayne, Ill.- Wheaton St. Francis) were named Second Team All-CCIW.Â
Additionally, McCall will serve as a team captain alongside seniors Amber Juarez (Bloomington, Ill. - Normal U High) and
Makenna Jacoby (Shorewood, Ill. - Minooka Community). Â
