Baseball Draws Matchup with Millikin in First Round of CCIW Tournament

First pitch is set for 2 p.m.

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The sixth-seeded Illinois Wesleyan University baseball team opens the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament with a first round game at Millikin University Wednesday afternoon, May 19. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.

The IWU-MU matchup will serve as the fourth game of the tournament. No. 8 Wheaton defeated No. 9 Carthage in the play-in game yesterday, May 17. Wednesday's CCIW Tournament slate also includes games between top-seeded North Central and Wheaton, No. 5 North Park and No. 4 Carroll, and No. 7 Elmhurst and No. 2 Augustana.

Since 1985, Illinois Wesleyan has compiled a 52-53 CCIW Tournament record under five-time conference coach of the year winner Dennis Martel. The Titans have made 16 CCIW Tournament Championship appearances, most recently in 2019, and have won the tournament six times.
