Men’s Tennis Continues Homestand with Two CCIW Matches

Titans Collide with Carthage and Carroll April, 10-11

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's tennis team returns to the court for two conference matches Saturday, April 10 versus Carthage College and Sunday, April 11 against Carroll University. The Titans will host the two teams for the weekend matchups, both of which are scheduled to start at 10 a.m.

IWU holds an overall 6-4 record as Carthage enters the match on Saturday at 4-5. Carroll currently sits on a 1-3 record as they are scheduled to head to Millikin Saturday, April 10 before traveling to Bloomington, Ill. to square off against the Titans Sunday, April 11.

The Green and White look to bounce back from an 8-1 defeat at the hands of Augustana, April 3. At No. 1 doubles junior Demetrios Triantafel (Indian Head Park, Ill.-LaGrange Lyons) and sophomore Carter Burk (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal U High) secured their sixth win of the season, with an 8-5 victory, in IWU's bout with Augie.
