WHEATON/ELMHURST, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's tennis team will travel to Wheaton College and Elmhurst University for its last away matches of the year Saturday-Sunday, April 17-18. Both matches are slated for a 10 a.m. start.
The Titans are 6-5 on the year and 0-3 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin. The Thunder welcome the Titans with a 4-3 overall record and 2-1 CCIW. The Thunder are set to play Millikin University before seeing the Titans on Saturday, April 17. IWU and Wheaton have faced off a total of 18 times since 2009.
The Green and White will go up against Elmhurst, who holds a 1-4 record and is 1-2 in the CCIW. Similarly, the Bluejays will see Millikin first before going head-to-head with the Titans Sunday, April 18. The two teams have seen each other a total of 17 times dating back to the 2008 season. Elmhurst holds a slight 9-8 edge over the Titans in their series, as the Titans look to even it out this weekend.
