4/15/2021 10:05:00 AM

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's soccer team is scheduled to play in its last countable match of the season against Millikin University Friday, April 16 at Neis Field. Kick off is at 7 p.m.

The Titans have played a combination of exhibition and countable matches due to the format of the made up 2020 campaign. Illinois Wesleyan holds a 2-1 record while the Big Blue are to meet the Titans for the second time this year, with a 3-0 overall record.

The Titans will honor its three seniors, Keagan James (Kokomo, Ind.-Kokomo), Mateo Grajales (Parker, Colo.-Regis Jesuit), and Bobby Reichert (Yorkville, Ill.-Yorkville), during Friday's match as they make their last mark at Neis Field. James and Reichert have each registered a goal during the short season, while Grajales collected an assist.

IWU and MU have seen each other a total of 40 times dating back to the 1986 season. The Titans last saw the Big Blue earlier this season in Decatur, Ill. where Millikin managed to edge a 1-0 win over the Green and White, April 7.

Junior Zack Kokes (Naperville, Ill.-Naperville Central) holds the team-high in points with four, tallying two goals. Sitting right behind Kokes, in his premier season for IWU is freshman CJ Rodriguez (Santa Barbara, CA.-Dos Pueblos) with three total points, credited to his three assists in a single-game against Elmhurst University, where the Titans went on to defeat the Blue Jays, 5-3 on March 27.

The game will be live streamed here, and live stats will be available here.
