Men’s Tennis Set for CCIW Play on Friday

Titans to face North Central

LISLE, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's tennis team returns to the court and kicks off conference play Friday, March 26 at North Central College, for a 1:30 p.m. start. IWU holds an overall 6-2 record as NCC enters the match at 4-2. This marks the start of CCIW men's tennis play for IWU.

The Green and White head north after beating Transylvania University in a close 5-4 battle Saturday, March 13.

Senior Justin Piotrowski (Palatine, Ill.-Fremd) was named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Men's Tennis Player of the Week due to his performance versus Transy, announced March 17. The senior won at No. 6 singles and at No. 3 doubles with partner Dylan Mikaili (Naperville, Ill,-Waubonsie Valley). The two Titans collected the only win at doubles for the Green and White, 8-5 during the competition.
