Women's Volleyball Eyes Bounce Back at Augie

First serve set for 4:30 p.m.

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's volleyball travels to the Carver P.E. Center Wednesday, March 24, for a match against Augustana College. First serve is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

Illinois Wesleyan is coming off a four-set loss to seventh-ranked Carthage, March 17, and sits a 1-2 on the season. Augustana holds a 1-4 record this season, most recently coming up short against Millikin, 3-1, March 21. 

Junior Courtney McAuliffe (Lemont, Ill.-Lemont) has paced the Titans offensively. She leads the team with 35 kills, 3.18 per set, and has hit an impressive .308 on the season. Freshman Maddie Dryfhout (Orland Park, Ill.-Chicago Christian) has also come on strong, tallying 30 kills through her first three collegiate matches. 

Junior Madi Corey (Frankfort, Ill.-Lincoln-Way East) has registered 77 assists this season and is tied with senior Jessica McCall (Wayne, Ill.-Wheaton St. Francis) for the team lead with five aces.

Defensively, junior Amber Juarez (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal U High) has 56 digs, good for 5.09 per set. McAuliffe and sophomore Evy Makris (Orland Park, Ill.-Sandburg) lead the team with nine blocks apiece.
