BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team returns home Friday, March 19, to face off against Southwestern University, under the lights at 7:30 p.m. The Titans and Pirates will meet for the first time Friday night, with IWU looking to improve on its 3-0 record. Southwestern enters the contest 3-2 on the year.

Junior Daniel Dickerson's (Wheaton, Ill.-St. Francis College Prep) two goals, one assist, and four ground ball pick up performance in a 16-14 win at Rhodes last Sunday, March 14, earned him a spot on the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III Dynamic Team of the Week, March 16. The accolade is the second in program history for IWU after Rick Smith (Frankfort, Ill.-Lincoln Way East) earned this honor last week, March 9. 

Smith leads the Titans with 22 points tallying 15 goals and seven assists, to go along with 11 ground balls. At 15 and 14 total points are juniors Charles Hildestad (Carlock, Ill.-St. Viator) and Griffin DeMilt (Toledo, Ohio-Ottawa Hills), respectively. Hildestad recorded 10 goals, five assists, and eight ground balls, while DeMilt has 10 goals, four assists, and six ground balls.
