Top-Ranked Titans Take on Loaded Field at Jekyll Island

JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. - The No. 1 Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf team returns to action against a talented field at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational Friday-Sunday, March 19-21, at Jekyll Island Golf Club. The top-ranked Titans will square off against nine top-16 teams on the par-72, 6700-yard Pine Lakes course.

In addition to the Titans, the field consists of Huntingdon and Emory, who tied for No. 2 in the last Division III Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll, along with No. 4 Carnegie Mellon, No 5 Methodist, No. 6 Hampden-Sydney, No. 7 Piedmont, No. 8 Guilford, No. 11 Greensboro, and No. 16 Oglethorpe.

Senior Rob Wuethrich (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community), Andrew Abel (Geneva, Ill.-Geneva), and Justin Park (Vernon Hills, Ill.-Vernon Hills), along with juniors Jimmy Morton (Sugar Grove, Ill.-Marmion Academy) and Will Nummy (Winnetka, Ill.-New Trier) will compete for the Green and White. Additionally, Bobby Beaubien (Barrington, Ill.-Barrington), Ethan Wilkins (Sussex, Wis.-Lake Country Lutheran), and Jack Bruening (Belleville, Ill.-Althoff Catholic) will compete as individuals.
