Men's Volleyball Falls at No. 14 North Central

Scott, Eastman tie for team lead with eight kills apiece

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan University men's volleyball team fell 3-0 at 14th-ranked North Central College Saturday afternoon, March 13. The Titans fell by scores of 25-19, 25-9, and 25-13. IWU fell to 2-10 overall, 1-6 in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin play, while NCC improved to 7-2 (5-2 CCIW).

Ethan Scott (Wheaton, Ill.-Wheaton North) and Michael Eastman (Chicago, Ill.-St. Ignatius) tied for the team lead with seven kills apiece. Dominic Bennett (Lockport, Ill.-Plainfield Central) tallied a team-high 10 assists, and Adam Blackmore (Geneva, Ill.-Geneva) finished with eight digs.

Illinois Wesleyan could not keep pace with North Central's attack, as the Titans hit .086 to the Cardinals' .435 clip.

The Green and White wraps up its four-game roadtrip at North Park University Wednesday, March 17. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
