NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan University men's volleyball team fell 3-0 at 14th-ranked North Central College Saturday afternoon, March 13. The Titans fell by scores of 25-19, 25-9, and 25-13. IWU fell to 2-10 overall, 1-6 in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin play, while NCC improved to 7-2 (5-2 CCIW).
Ethan Scott (Wheaton, Ill.-Wheaton North) and
Michael Eastman (Chicago, Ill.-St. Ignatius) tied for the team lead with seven kills apiece.
Dominic Bennett (Lockport, Ill.-Plainfield Central) tallied a team-high 10 assists, and
Adam Blackmore (Geneva, Ill.-Geneva) finished with eight digs.
Illinois Wesleyan could not keep pace with North Central's attack, as the Titans hit .086 to the Cardinals' .435 clip.
