BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's tennis team advanced to 5-1 on the season after its 9-0 sweep against Illinois College Friday, Feb. 26 at Evergreen Racquet Club. It is the Titans first 9-0 victory of the season, as well as the first since topping Wabash during last year's Spring Break trip. 

At No. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 singles the Green and White took both games with scores of 6-0, while at No. 6 singles the sets finished with an IWU victory finishing 6-0 and 6-1. 

Seniors Justin Piotrowski (Palatin, Ill.-Fremd) and Dylan Mikaili (Naperville, Ill.- Waubonsie Valley) teammed up for the first time this season, and came way with an 8-0 sweep at No. 2 doubles. At No. 3 doubles were also first-time partners Joe Morro (Chicago, Ill.-Lincoln Park) and Ryan McCoy (Arlington Heights, Ill.-Rolling Meadows) who took a 8-0 victory over IC. 

The Titans prepare for a trip to Indianapolis, Ind. for a dual against NCAA Division II foe Cedarville next Saturday, March 6. The matches are scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. start.
