BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament kicks off for the Illinois Wesleyan University men's soccer team Wednesday night, Nov. 3 in Naperville, Ill. at 7:30 p.m. The Titans finished third in the conference after compiling a 5-3 league standing and 6-8-1 overall. IWU sits in front of fourth-seeded Wheaton College, and behind second-seeded North Central College and CCIW Regular Season Champions North Park University.

The Titans will play North Central in the semifinal round while North Park and Wheaton will face off in the other semifinal. The winners of each game will advance to the tournament championship Saturday, Nov. 6.

The Titans and Cardinals played earlier in the season where IWU was edged 1-0, Oct. 13. Before facing the Titans, NCC was on a four-game winning streak with an overall record of 14-0-1, and had only defeated three other teams by a one goal deficit.

IWU kept pace with the Cardinals taking it to them offensively in the first 45 before NCC netted it's only goal to take the win in the second half.

The Titans have been in the CCIW Tournament Semifinal round seven times before and in the championship round once, in 2019. The last and only time North Central and IWU faced one another in postseason play was during the 2019 CCIW Tournament. The Titans beatout the Cardinals in the semifinal round after penalty kicks where the Green and White advanced.

The game will be available via livestream here and livestats can be accessed from the men's soccer schedule page on iwusports.com. Ticket prices for the tournament will be $8 for adults, $5 for seniors, students, and children age 6-14. Current Illinois Wesleyan and North Central students can attend for free with their student ID, while no other passes will be accepted.
