NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Senior Rebekah Harden (Tinley Park, Ill.-Lincoln-Way North) was named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Cross Country Runner of the Week Tuesday, Oct. 5. This recognition comes after she placed fifth in the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational Oct. 1, and is the second weekly cross country honor of her career. She previously earned the honor Sept. 21.

The Brissman-Lundeen Invitational featured a plethora of competition from 21 schools in the midwest region, including several CCIW squads. Harden captured a top-five finish, as she posted a time of 22:22.60 to lead the Titans in a field that included 297 participants. Overall, the team finished in fourth place at Sauki Golf Course in Rock Island, Ill. 

Illinois Wesleyan returns to action Friday, October 15 in Peoria, Ill. to compete in the Bradley Invite.
