BLOOMINTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's volleyball team is set to travel to Waukesha, Wis. for a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin matchup Wednesday, Oct. 13. The Green and White will take on Carroll University inside Van Male Fieldhouse with first serve slated for 7 p.m. The Titans enter this dual with an overall record 11-10 (4-1 CCIW), while the Pioneers have a 6-14 overall record (0-4 CCIW).
The Titans last saw the court Saturday, Oct 9 as the team participated in the WashU Invite in St. Louis, Mo. The Green and White lost in straight sets to No. 9 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and then defeated No. 23 WashU in straight sets to go 1-1 in the tournament.
Illinois Wesleyan possesses an overall record of 6-1 against Carroll. The Green and White enjoyed a five-match win streak from Oct. 21 1995 - Oct. 16 2018. The Titans lone defeat came Oct. 2, 2019 in four sets. Most recently, the two teams squared off March 28, 2021 in which IWU swept the Pioneers in straight sets.
