Women’s Soccer Continues CCIW Play Against Cardinals

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team prepares for a trip to Naperville, Ill. to face North Central College Wednesday, Oct. 13. The Titans will play inside Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium at 7 p.m.

IWU is 2-1 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin after losing 2-1 to Wheaton College Saturday, Oct. 9. The wins came from defeating both Elmhurst University and North Park University 4-0 and 5-0, respectively. The Cardinals are now 3-0 in the CCIW after defeating Augustana College 2-1.

The Titans and Cardinals have an all-time series of 25-2-1 dating back to the 1994 season. With history on the Titans side, IWU has won every contest since 1999 and rides into the Naperville on a 22-game winning streak. The Green and White last saw NCC in the 2019 semifinals of the CCIW Tournament where the Titans ended the Cardinals season with a 1-0 win. That same season, the Titans were named the CCIW Tournament Champions.
