IWUsports.com will highlight the accomplishments of the spring sport seniors over the next few weeks

With the COVID-19 pandemic resulting in the cancellation of the majority of the spring sports season, more than 50 Illinois Wesleyan seniors saw their athletic careers come to an end. Due to this and the inability to provide our student-athletes with a traditional Senior Day sendoff, IWUsports.com will share Senior Spotlight profiles over the next several weeks to highlight these Titans and their accomplishments.

Danny Lowe is a native of Woodbury, Minn. and was a three-year letterwinner for the IWU men's lacrosse team. He is the son of Mary and Bob Lowe.

"Danny played in 42 games during his career at IWU and was a great teammate and meateater during his time at IWU.," Head Coach Zach Iannucci added. " We asked Danny to play multiple positions during his career to help the team succeed. He tackled and excelled at each new role.  He was a team first player, whose unselfishness was a great example for his teammates to follow.  Danny will be missed, but we are excited to watch him thrive in the next phase of his journey."

In 42 career games, Lowe scored 19 goals and recorded 12 assists for a total of 31 points. He picked up 52 ground balls and caused four turnovers, while helping IWU to three straight CCIW Tournament Championships and NCAA Tournament berths.

Lowe graduates with a degree in finance.
