BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University baseball team will partake in the annual RussMatt Baseball Invitational, held in Auburndale, Fla. The Titans will play a total of eight games in a nine-day span with games being held at Lake Myrtle Park with opponents, dates, and times listed below:

Illinois College, Friday, March 6, 12:30 p.m. ET
Ursinius, Saturday, March 7, 4 p.m. ET
Gordon (DH), Sunday, March 8, 9:15 a.m./11:45 a.m. ET
Beloit, Tuesday, March 10, 9 a.m. ET
UMass Dartmouth, Thursday, March 12, 1:45 p.m. ET
Simpson, Friday, March 13, 4 p.m. ET
College of New Jersey, Saturday, March 14, 9:30 a.m. ET

The Titans are 2-2 going into the spring break trip, with IWU winning a pair of 8-4 decisions at Fontbonne and Greenville before being swept by Chicago. Seniors Nick Figus (Frankfort, Ill.-Lincoln-Way North HS) and Brandon Skopick (Frankfort, Ill.-Lincoln Way East) have led the Titan bats so far with Figus having a .500 batting average and four doubles and Skopick averaging .444 with five runs batted in and six stolen bases in as many chances.

On the mound, the junior duo of Quinn Gudaitis (Arlington Heights, Ill.-John Hersey HS) and Hunter Simon (Verona, Ill.-Seneca HS) have combined for 13 shutout innings pitched and 11 strikeouts in their first starts of the season.
