ORLANDO, Fla.- The Illinois Wesleyan University men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision against College of St. Scholastica before handing Wabash a 9-0 setback Tuesday, March 10 in Orlando, Fla. IWU moved to an 8-3 overall record. 

Against CSS, the duo teams at No.1 and No. 2 doubles collected victories. Sophomore Demetrios Triantafel (Indian Head Park, Ill.-LaGrange Lyons HS) and freshman Carter Burk (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal U High) defeated Elliot Schneider and Jake Jolowsky 8-5 at No. 1, while juniors Justin Piotrowski (Palatine, Ill.-Fremd HS) and Dylan Mikaili (Napperville, Ill.-Waubonsie Valley HS) came out on top with an 8-1 win over CSS's Rafa Gonzalez and Carter Anderson. 

In the second match of the day, IWU put forward its best effort against the Little Giants. Each Titan picked up a win in singles play, while also collecting wins at No. 1, 2, and 3 doubles.

The men's tennis team will finish their spring break trip with a pair of duals Thursday, March 12 against Colby-Sawyer at 11:30 a.m. ET and Curry at 7 p.m. ET.
