Gudaitis finished the 2019 season 7-1 in 13 pitching appearances with nine starts, striking out 70 and held opposing hitters to a .229 average.

Since 2009, Illinois Wesleyan has a 6-1 advantage over Fontbonne, with the last meetings being a doubleheader sweep for the Titans in 2018 with scores of 11-0 and 5-3. Just last season against Greenville, IWU swept the Panthers in a doubleheader with scores of 6-3 and 12-2.
