LAKE FOREST, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's soccer team fell short of its third straight win Saturday afternoon, Sept. 7, at Lake Forest College. The Titans created chance after chance but could not capitalize, coming away with a 2-0 defeat at the hands fo the Foresters.
IWU led in nearly every statistical category, but Lake Forest's five saves kept the Titans from finding the back of the net. Illinois Wesleyan led in shots 9-7, including a 5-4 edge in shots on target, while also earning a season-best 10 corners. Senior

Patrick Hickey (Des Plaines, Ill.-St. Viator HS) recorded a team-high three saves.
The Titans look to bounce back Tuesday night, Sept. 10, at Neis Field when IWU welcomes Washington University in St. Louis to town for a 7 p.m. non-conference bout.
