BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team scored two goals in the second half to win its home opener 2-0 against Calvin College Friday, Sept. 6.
Junior Cameron Hindel (Normal, Ill.-Normal Community) in the 53rd minute and freshman Lauren Shanks (Bloomington, Ill.-Central Catholic) in the 72nd minute provided the scoring for the Titans, with junior Sydney Pinder (Liberty Township, Ohio-Lakota East HS) assisting on Hindel's goal.
