BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The No. 24 Illinois Wesleyan University volleyball team closes out its season-opening four-match roadtrip at No. 25 Washington University in St. Louis Wednesday night, Sept. 4. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
IWU enters the matchup after kicking off the year at the Ohio Northern Invitational, Aug. 30-31. There, the Titans came up short against No. 2 Clavin, No. 8 Wittenberg, and No. 21 ONU by 3-0 tallies. Freshmen
Grace Sanders (Bloomington, Ill.-Bloomington HS),
Riley Epperson (Payson, Ill.-Payson Seymour HS),
Evy Makris (Orland Park, Ill.-Sandburg HS), and
Katherine Petty (Rochester, Ill.-Rochester HS) all made their collegiate debuts over the weekend. Collectively the group combined for 40 kills, 18 digs, and five aces.

Jessica McCall (Wayne, Ill.-Wheaton St. Francis HS) leads Illinois Wesleyan with 21 kills and 26 digs through three matches, while sophomore
Madi Corey (Frankfort, Ill.-Lincoln-Way East HS) has handed out 64 assists and 18 digs.Â
