BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University volleyball team continues College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin competition Friday night, Sept. 27, at Millikin University. First serve between the Titans and Big Blue is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Friday night's CCIW clash will be the 33rd all-time meeting between Illinois Wesleyan and Millikin. IWU trails in a tightly contested series, 17-15, but has won the last four meetings. The Titans' four-match win streak dates back to the 2016 season. IWU is in search of its first conference win of the year after dropping its league opener 3-0 to Carthage, Sept. 18. Meanwhile, MU is 2-0 in conference play following wins over Carroll and North Central.

The Titans are led by junior Jessica McCall (Wayne, Ill.-Wheaton St. Francis HS), who has racked up a team-best 124 kills, 2.82 per set, to go along with 136 digs. McCall is coming off a weekend in which she posted a pair of double-doubles en route to all-tournament honors at the Holiday Inn Express Classic II, Sept. 20-21.

Sophomore Amber Juarez (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal U High) is top on the team with 162 digs, while freshman Grace Sanders (Bloomington, Ill.-Bloomington HS) has added 101 of her own. IWU's blocking efforts are led by the freshmen duo of Evy Makris (Orland Park, Ill.-Sandburg HS) and Riley Epperson (Payson, Ill.-Payson Seymour HS). Makris leads the team with 31 blocks, while Epperson has tallied 27. Illinois Wesleyan has outblocked opponents 28-16 through its last three matches.
