Eric Kozlowski combined on a four-hit shutout in a 4-0 Illinois Wesleyan baseball win over visiting Carthage College on Friday, May 3, at Horenberger Field.
The Titans improved to 20-16 overall and are 13-9 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin as the Red Men fall to 17-21 overall and 7-15 in CCIW action. The same two teams square off in a doubleheader at 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, also at Horenberger Field.

Bennes (3-2) was the winning pitcher, as he blanked the Red Men on four hits, three walks and two strikeouts over six innings. The Red Men got no hits over the final three innings against the IWU relievers and Kozlowski struck out the side in the ninth.
