WAUKESHA, Wis. -- A day after scoring 29 runs in a doubleheader, the Illinois Wesleyan baseball team scored 12 more on Sunday, April 7. But the Titans allowed 13 runs in a 10-inning loss to Carroll University at Frame Park in Waukesha, Wis.
Illinois Wesleyan is 11-12 overall and 4-5 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin while the Pioneers are now 9-13 overall and 1-5 in the league.
The Titans, who had 12 hits, hit four more home runs Sunday after hitting nine on Saturday and junior first baseman
Garrett Shea had three hits with two runs batted in and a first homer, his fourth of the weekend.

Evan Ranneklev each had two hits (each with a double and a home run) and senior centerfielder
Ben Manski also ripped a three-run homer in a seven-run second inning that staked IWU to a 9-1 lead at the time. But the Pios scored four in the second inning, three in the third and tacked on four more in the eighth that tied the game at 12-12.

Braden Miller (0-2), the sixth IWU pitcher, took the loss. Senior
Jacob Houghton gave the Titans 4 2/3 innings of one-hit shutout ball in the middle of the game and sophomore
Eric Kozlowski also tossed 1 1/3 scoreless innings.
