ALBION, Mich. -- Illinois Wesleyan women's lacrosse fired off 47 total shots and took a 21-7 win over Albion College on Sunday, March 24, at Alumni Field in Albion, Mich.
With their third straight win, the Titans are now 8-2 this spring and the Britons are 4-3.
Seven Titans scored two or more goals, led by senior
Sam Bidlack with five, senior
Claudia Richman with four and freshman
Landry Elliott with three. Bidlack, Elliott and senior
Grainne Kelly led IWU with two assists each.
The Titans, who jumped out to a 10-2 halftime lead, had a 47-12 lead in total shots and a 41-10 advantage in shots on goal. Albion committed 20 turnovers to only 12 for IWU and senior
Dani Engelbreit caused four turnovers while also leading the team with five ground balls collected. As a team, IWU had 26 ground balls to 14 for the Britons.

Janaye Godfrey made two saves in 48:23 minutes in net and freshman
Sydney MacDonald played the final 11:37 and made one save.
Carly Schwarz and Destiny Okon each had two goals to lead Albion.

Illinois Wesleyan has a scrimmage against Illinois State University on Tuesday, April 2, at 7:30 p.m. at Tucci Stadium ahead of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin opener at Augustana College at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 6.
