BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The Illinois Wesleyan men's basketball team shot 72 percent from the field in the first half and rolled to a 111-66 win over North Park on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at the Shirk Center. The 111 is the most points scored in a league game for an Illinois Wesleyan team since a 118-94 win over Millikin in the 1992-93 season.
The Titans improved to 16-8 overall and 9-6 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin and the win clinches a home game in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19, with the opponent yet to be determined.

North Park fell to 4-20 overall and 2-13 in the league.
This is IWU's second 100+ game of the season, the other being in a 105-103 loss to Whitman on Dec. 28, and the highest point output since a
123-104 win at Rhodes on Nov. 26, 2017.

Seniors
Brady Rose and
Colin Bonnett had 21 points and 17 points, respectively, to lead Illinois Wesleyan with junior
Alex O'Neill adding 13 with three baskets coming via dunks, and sophomore
Charlie Bair netting 10. All 15 players who saw the court scored for Illinois Wesleyan.
IWU made 23 of 32 field goals in the red-hot first half, including 7 of 13 3-pointers, to build up a 54-27 halftime lead. The Titans outrebounded the Vikings, 40-20, as Bair collected seven and senior
Danny Baker had six. IWU had outstanding ball movement against North Park as the Titans had 31 assists for their 43 baskets. Sophomore
Grant Wolfe handed out seven assists and senior
Jason Gregoire had six helpers.
North Park received 15 points from Toby Marek and 14 from Vegard Tangen.
What's Next?
Illinois Wesleyan closes out its regular season on Saturday, Feb. 16, at 4 p.m. at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wis. ... The Pioneers are coming off a 72-59 win at Elmhurst and are 11-13 overall and 7-8 in the league, earning a spot in the six-team postseason tournament.
