BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team will honor its senior class when the Titans take the field against Elmhurst College Saturday, Nov. 2, for Senior Day. The match between College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin foes is set for 7 p.m.

The five seniors that will be recognized before the game are: Kaitlyn Chen (Saratoga, Calif.-Saratoga HS), Ellie Crabtree (Springfield, Ill.-Edwardsville HS), Flower Edington (Wilmette, Ill.-New Trier Township HS), Shannon Gatehouse (St. Charles, Ill.-St. Charles East HS), and Braelyn Spears (San Antonio, Texas-Univ. Incarnate Word HS). Between the senior class, they have combined for 38 goals, 33 assists, 109 points, and 54 wins.

The Titans are currently riding a six-game winning streak, and also have won 10 out of the last 11 games dating back to Sept. 18. IWU has secured the number two seed for the CCIW tournament with a 6-1 conference record to go with their 11-5-0 overall win-loss mark.

IWU leads Elmhurst in the all-time series, 19-5-1. The Titans have won the last eight meetings and currently ride an unbeaten streak of 16 games against the Bluejays. Elmhurst comes into the contest with an 8-7-2 overall record with a 2-4-1 CCIW record, their last match being a 5-0 defeat at the hands of non-conference opponent Concordia University (Wis.), Tuesday, Oct. 29.

Edington needs two more points to reach 65 career points and one more assist to reach 20 in her career.
