BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's volleyball team looks to build off of its 3-1 Homecoming weekend win over Augustana College, Oct. 4, when it plays host to North Central College Wednesday night, Oct. 9. First serve between the Titans and Cardinals is scheduled for 7 p.m. inside the Shirk Center.
IWU enters the weekend 2-2 in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin play following a split week, Oct. 2-4. The Titans were upended on the road at Carroll, Oct. 2, before a 3-1 triumph against Augsutana, Oct. 4. Meanwhile, North Central is still in search of its first league win of the season following a 3-0 setback at the hands of No. 5 Carthage, Oct. 2. Wednesday night will mark the 33rd meeting between the Titans and Cardinals, with IWU leading the all-time tally 19-13. Illinois Wesleyan has won four consecutive matches against NCC dating back to the 2014 season.

Jessica McCall (Wayne, Ill.-Wheaton St. Francis HS) leads the Titans with 159 kills, while ranking seventh in the league with 2.89 per set. Sophomore
Madi Corey (Frankfort, Ill.-Lincoln-Way East HS) sits sixth in the CCIW with 6.53 assists per set, having racked up 359 on the year. She is also ninth in the conference in aces per set (0.36). Defensively, freshman
Evy Makris (Orland Park, Ill.-Sandburg HS) and sophomore
Amber Juarez (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal U High) are among the conference's best as Makris is slotted seventh in blocks per set (0.76) and Juarez is sixth in the CCIW with 4.02 digs per set.
