Women’s Soccer Returns Home for CCIW Match Versus North Central

IWU currently has 20-game winning streak in series

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team returns home to host College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin foe North Central College, Wednesday, Oct. 9. 

The Titans currently have a 5-5-0 overall record and a 0-1-0 mark in CCIW play following a 1-nil setback at No. 8 Wheaton, Oct. 4. North Central currently holds a 6-4-1 overall record with a 2-0-0 record in CCIW play.

IWU leads the all-time series against NCC 23-2-1, and currently holds a 20-game winning streak over the Cardinals. The Titans won the last meeting 2-0 with goals by Flower Edington (Wilmette, Ill.-New Trier Township HS) and Rachel White (Naperville, Ill-Waubonsie Valley HS)

In her last five games, sophomore Maria Fields (Frankfort, Ill.-Lincoln-Way East HS) has saved 26 shots, including 12 in the most recent match at Wheaton, good for a .897 save percentage.
