BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's volleyball team looks to get back on track Friday night, Oct. 4, when the Titans host the Vikings of Augustana College in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin play. First serve of the Homecoming weekend match is scheduled for 7 p.m. inside of the Shirk Center.

Illinois Wesleyan is 1-2 in CCIW play following a midweek loss at Carroll, Oct. 2. The Titans won the first set, but ultimately dropped the match 3-1 to the Pioneers. Junior Jessica McCall (Wayne, Ill.-Wheaton St. Francis HS) and sophomore Madi Corey (Frankfort, Ill.-Lincoln-Way East HS) notched double-doubles in the loss. McCall racked up a match-best 17 kills on a .176 attacking percentage to go along with 17 digs, while Corey added 24 assists and 12 digs. Additionally, sophomore Amber Juarez (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal U High) registered a career-high 29 digs. Meanwhile, Augie is 2-1 in league play following its first conference loss of the year. The Vikings topped North Central, 3-1, and Carroll, 3-0, before falling at Elmhurst, 3-1, Oct. 1.

Friday night will mark the 33rd all-time meeting between IWU and Augustana. The Titans hold a slim lead in the all-time tally, having won 17 matches against the Vikings, including the last three.
