WAUKESHA, Wis. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's soccer team head over to Carroll University for a CCIW match against the Pioneers, Saturday, Oct. 26. The Titans currently have a 7-7-0 record with a 3-2 mark in conference play going into the match.
In the all-time series, IWU holds a 4-0-1 record against Carroll. Last year's edition was a 1-nil victory with
Patrick Hickey (Des Plaines, Ill.-St. Viator HS) scoring the lone goal. The Pioneers also have a 7-7-0 win-loss record but are winless in five CCIW games. Their most recent match was a 2-1 defeat at Elmhurst College, last Saturday, Oct. 19.
For the season, the Titans have outscored their opponents, 23 to 18, and have outshot the opposition, 177 to 157. IWU also ranks third in the CCIW in corners with 75. A total of 17 different players have registered a point this season, with 11 scoring at least one goal.
Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m, and is the second leg of a doubleheader with the women's soccer team. Links for the live stream and stats can be found
