Emily Kase prior to the Senior Night match. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
The Titans head into a four-match homestand following a strong week in which they put together a 3-1 record, highlighted by a four-set victory over No. 17 St. Thomas, Oct. 18. IWU enters the conference clash with a CCIW record of 4-2, while Wheaton is 2-4 in league play and 13-9 overall. Tuesday night will mark the 23rd all-time meeting between the Titans and Thunder, with Illinois Wesleyan leading the all-time tally 22-10.Â
Junior
Jessica McCall (Wayne, Ill.-Wheaton St. Francis HS), who earned all-tournament honors for her efforts at the Kohawk Invitational Oct. 18-19, currently ranks third in the conference with 3.22 kills per set. She is also slotted third in points per set (3.53). Sophomore
Madi Corey (Frankfort, Ill.-Lincoln-Way East HS) checks in at fifth in the league with 7.19 assists per set. Sophomore
Amber Juarez (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal U High) and freshman
Evy Makris (Orland Park, Ill.-Carl Sandburg HS) also find themselves inside the CCIW's top-10 statistically. Juarez's 4.31 digs per set are sixth-best in the conference, while Makris' 0.77 blocks per set are tied for sixth best in the league.
